#The_Seven_Manifestations_of_Generosity

Updated: Nov 11, 2019

Acts 20:35 MKJV

I have shown you all things, that working in this way we ought to help the weak, and to remember the words of the Lord Jesus, that He Himself said, It is more blessed to give than to receive.

Being generous is always spoken in the Word as giving to those who are less fortunate.

  • Look for those who are not strong and look to bring them up.

Generosity stands on a foundation of love. It's a quality which cannot be faked.

Who have you blessed lately? Who have told you thank you, or thanked God for you?

The power of generosity is contained in the human will. You choose whether you give or not. However, not everyone who gives to you is generous.

  • Generosity is not an opportunity to stroke your spiritual ego.

Seven manifestations of Generosity

1: Generosity demonstrates the Love of God

1 John 3:17-18

  • Love with action and truth.

2: We get to please God by Generosity

Hebrews 13:6 NIV

  • Do not forget to do good.

3: Generosity attracts Answers to our Prayers

Proverbs 21:13

  • If you block your ears to the poor God will block His ear from your cry.

4: Generosity attracts Favour

Psalm 112:5

  • Be generous, lend freely and conduct your affairs with justice.

  • Give good things. Things you would appreciate yourself.

5: We receive Honour by Generosity

Psalm 112:9

  • People seek you out and God lifts you up

6: Generosity is the intent of God's Blessings

2 Corinthians 9:11

  • Enriched in every way.

  • Be generous on every occasion

  • Generosity results in Thanksgiving

7: Generosity is the Key to Prosperity

Proverbs 11:24-25

  • We are conduits of blessings.

  • We are refreshed when we refresh others.

  • The anointing compels you to give.

  • When I give something to you that touches your heart I am blessed.

  • Generosity changes lives.

"No one cares how much you know until they know how much you care."

God gave each of us the opportunities to:

  • show others His love

  • meet needs

  • value others as the image and likeness of God

The first step to a miracle is compassion.

Generosity has power.
