National Responsibility of the Church

Updated: Feb 15, 2020

The pray from Barbados' first Independence on 30th November 1966: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hqTzVQ7mdTM

There is a responsibility.

We must be more than Christian in name

Matthew 5:15

Christians have a seasoning and preserving effect to those around them.

People do not know what they are missing. If they do, they will respond to God.

Matthew 10:10

There is a life you never dreamed of. A life Christ has for you. The way we live as Christians should be different from those around us.

Christian is the preserver. The Salt of the Earth.

We are the Representatives of God

Seeing a Christian should effect the world around you and their view of God.

Christians are God that people see.

Matthew 5:13

Exodus 7:1

People should look at us and see God.

John 14:9

When people see us they should see God.

Luke 15:1

People should want to be around us because we are representing God.

If we can give people the correct view of God they would like Him.

I want people drawn to God through me.

Wherever we go we are representing God. So make God look good. God wants us to represent Him as our National responsibility.

John 1:4-5

John 3:19

2 Cor. 4:6

God spoke into us. And it's that same light inside us.

Romans 8:11

I am the light of the world and I carry inside me the same Spirit that raised Jesus Christ from the dead.

Everywhere you go you have to be carrying the glory of God

You have a responsibility to not only express the power of Christ inside the walls of the church but to those outside as well.

Pray for God's purpose in the lives of people, for God to give them dreams and visions revealing Himself to them.

There is a power inside of you that can transform those around and your nation.

One Christian can accomplish mighty things. So rise up Salt and Light. Let us effect changes in our Nations.
